Dog Parade is a new Tradition for the Festival of the Senses
The 2013 Festival of the Senses builds on a new tradition established in 2012. Grab your dog and take part in the Second Annual Dog Parade that will wind around the grounds of the Festival of the Senses at the Clinton Township Civic Center, 40700 Romeo Plank Road just south of Canal.
The Dog Parade begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013. It will be led by Rosco the Clown, a Macomb County tradition. Dogs will be judged in three categories: Owner Look Alike, Best Costume and Best Behaved Dog during the Walk. Gift baskets will be awarded the winners in three weight categories for a total of nine prizes. Bow Wowwww.
The Dog Parade is hosted by the Clinton Township Festival of the Senses, the Macomb Community College Veterinary Technician Program and Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital.
